What Must I do?

Believe, Accept, Turn, Confess!

Believe: You must believe that Jesus Christ was crucified, buried, and resurrected for you.

Accept: Accept God's free gift of eternal life and His forgiveness for your sins.

Turn: You must turn away from sin and embrace God and His plan for your life.

Confess: You must confess your need and desire for Christ. "I want Him to be the Lord and Savior of my life."

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

What can I pray to God?

You can pray a prayer similar to this. Just speak to God. He is real, alive and will listen to you:

God here I am in your presence, I want to be your child. you know me and my sin. You know all I've said and done that has hurt you and other people. I'm sorry for my sin; I want forgiveness. I repent of all the wrong things in my life. Today I want to give my life to Christ. Jesus I believe you died for me. I believe your blood was given to cleanse away my sin. I believe you were raised from the dead. Jesus, you are alive! Today I receive eternal life. Thank you Lord that today my name is written in the Book of Life. Jesus, you are my God, my Savior, and my Lord.

2. Read the Bible daily starting with the Gospel of John.
3. Find other believers to gather with.
4. Share your faith with someone.
