Centered in Christ

The world is on a course! Man is on a collision of catastrophic events. The nations dont know what to do. Dont know the world KNOW ME. The Lord asks “What do you want in these times of change?” and My people ask, “Lord, what do you want?” Even if the intensity of change is all around you. Don't be moved and transformed by the changes, but be transformed by the Christ. Conform to Christ, not to the worldly changes.Remember you are kings and priests in this life but also pilgrims and sojouners. This world is not your home. I AM your home.

I, the Lord, change not! I am the God of your future! Don't let these times of change move you to do the wrong thing! I don't want the times to change you. I want them to center you, center you in Christ! Centered in Christ will help your future! Don't forget My present ministry. I'm at the right hand of the Father interceding for My people. I am the great High Priest and it is still My position in glory. Let My present ministry affect you and make you like Me! You be an intercessor also for this generation that is undergoing dramatic changes! Be like Me! Intercession will help your future and theirs. This is what I want.

That’s about enough of that!

I know you will be blessed by Pastor Rich Conley's teaching. He is the Senior Pastor of the local church we belong to, Trinity Life Center in Pueblo, Co. Rich also serves in the Sr. leadership of Ascension Fellowship International.

Thank you Pastor for taking time to write this for our BTN friends.

You have been an example to many!

Steve Manning

I find that as much as God speaks to me through His Word and by His “still small voice” I also find Him speaking to me through the situations that I go through in life. There is so much we can learn from Him in the course of “walking with Him” in the daily events of life if we are willing to listen.

A few weeks ago I went to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned. Of course, I have had this experience many times before; it is not always pleasant but tolerable. This time however it seemed like the person who was cleaning my teeth was trying to see how much pain I could endure. I was telling myself to just tuff it out, it will all be over soon (all the while trying to blink the tears out of my eyes). She said; “Richard your gums are bleeding…” I was thinking as I groaned, if you would just quit stabbing my gums with that sharp stainless steel instrument they would not be bleeding!! Just then I began to think about something that made me giggle to myself in the midst of my pain, I guess she could see my stomach moving from laughing to myself. She asked; “Do you have the Hiccups?”

You are mine and I have called you by name

"You are mine and I have called you by name. Behold these are those who are before the throne and serve Him day and night in His temple (Rev 7:15).

I will dwell among them. They are with me and I am with them. I always have my remnant. They are as burning offereings, offering themselves to me day and night. We have unbroken fellowship. We are close! In me they live and move and have their being (Acts). I always have these who have not bowed their knees to Baal. They have found in me that I am Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There is no other! I make my home with them. They know this 'I am my beloved's and His desire is for me' (Song of Sol 7:10).

They have no inheritance for I am their inheritance (Ez 44). Others want things, they want me! They are captured by my love at the cross! They are won by my death, burial, and resurrection. They are lost to my will. They follow me wherever I go! Day and night they serve me. They are my friends in the earth. they stand before me - to minister to me. I have written my name upon them! My heart rejoices in them and no one can pluck them out of my hand. As the lines are engraved in your hands so are they engraved in the palm of my hand."

What Gospel Do We Preach?

Galatians tells of us of "another" or "different" Gospel being possible. Gal 1:6

Galatians also reveals those who start out right in the Gospel, by a work of the Spirit and end up going back to the law. If we leave the real Gospel we must return to legalism and religious laws, traditions, and doctrines of men to replace the real Gospel. An example of this is when Jesus reminded them that He was Lord of the Sabbath. Not the other way around. Some make their doctrines higher than the Lord of all doctrines. Gal 1:1-3

It is good to examine our faith and the Gospel that we are teaching.

"Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?" 2Cor 13:5

We need to make sure it is the Bible we are preaching and teaching. What God do we know and teach? What Lord do we serve? What Spirit are we filled with? God’s Spirit, the world’s spirit, religious spirits? May the message of the Gospel be clear and balanced and Biblical and devoted to the foundational truths which do not change.
